DECEMBER BEER NEWS
Dec 04, 2018We are celebrating our 8th Anniversary on Saturday, December 8th. Help us celebrate by joining us for a free toast at 5 pm. We’ll have two new beers on tap to celebrate the occasion.
A double tapping of two exciting releases: Saison aged in Acacia Barrels and a Miho, a deliciously hoppy (and cat-inspired) Belgian-style pale ale. Both will be available in the taproom on December 8th.
Saison aged in Acacia Barrels • 7.5%
A very small batch of our classic Saison was aged for one year in two virgin Acacia barrels from Europe. Unlike oak barrel-aged beers, this beer has bright tropical fruit notes and crisp white wine characteristics.
Miho • 5.5%
This beer is named after a kitten found outside the brewery back in 2012. She was immediately adopted by our Co-founder, Brad, and has been a part of our funky family ever since. Miho (the beer) was brewed with Belgian-style yeast and has characteristics similar to American-style pale ales with abundant hop aromas and flavors. Miho is well balanced with hops, malt, and a little cattitude.
Our heavy-hitting, video game inspired super-duper ale, Level Thirteen is back again! The bottle pre-sale will go live, here on our website, on December 13th and will be available for purchase until December 20th or while supplies last. Make sure you're signed up for our email list to be the first to know. Level Thirteen #002 will be tapped and bottles will be available for pickup on Friday, December 21st.
On December 28th we will be tapping a new, lightly toasty and surprisingly fruity black saison, After Hours.
After Hours • 5.5%
Bright, fruity aromas emit from this darker-hued Saison. Deceivingly dark in color, this beer shows off very gentle roasty characteristics and a strong hoppy bouquet. Paired with a lower alcohol content this makes for one easing drinking beer and is the perfect choice on a cool winter evening. Light notes of peppery spice, fruity banana, and subtly toasty.
Sneak away from the holiday chaos at home and around town and join us for a beer in the taproom!
